PRECONCEPTION CARE BEHAVIOR AMONG HIGH-RISK WOMEN OF CHILDBEARING AGE

Women of childbearing age who are at high-risk have a higher proportion death caused by pre-existing medical conditions aggravated the pregnancy. Poor behavior and not carrying out preconception care will make this condition worsened. Meanwhile, data implementation in Indonesia still cannot be found. The research design was descriptive quantitative using survey approach, with population 68 women age, purposive sampling total sample 43 respondents fulfilled inclusion criteria. instrument used questionnaire tested for validity reliability. obtaining health preparation information enough (72.1%), anemia prevention control poor (90,7%), accuracy spacing pregnancy (41.9%), rational contraceptive use good (60.5%). Increasing promotive preventive attempts improving needed to prepare healthy pregnancies future.
